Handset Is Not Chargeing.

I got this phone set from my friend. I tried charge handset it is not working.I been charging 24 hours but handset doesn't have any power.The base is working fine but the handset is not working at all.

If the phone set was stored for an extended period of time with the battery installed in the headset, then the battery must have drained past the min charge level and you will then either have to replace the battery or try and charge it with a universal charger first until the min charge is restored.
