Wd 750gb Blues
in 2008 I purchased an external 750GB WD hdd. it worked fine for the next two years. it gave me warning signs that I should check the disk, but I kept skipping this as it takes time. Now, the drive cannot be detected by either OS or bios. I tried it on a linux box as well as many versions of windows. What I want to know is what could be the cause. I do not necessarily need the data in the drive, but just to get the drive working again.
