Good Dishwasher But...
Cheapest stainless steel DW I could find on the market, and lo and behold...the quietest operating DW I've ever owned - you have to open it to make sure it is running. Its that quiet. Does a standard (good) job of cleaning and drying dishes. No problem there.HOWEVER after a couple months, opening or closing the door is accompanied by a squeak that is so loud you can hear it a half block away. It is really loud! I took the door down to the bare bones, greased and oiled the hinge and all adjacent parts and there is no improvement. WTF? Poltergeist?
I'm assuming I'll have to live with it. Otherwise, what a bargain. You can run this thing and entertain guests right in front of it with no noise distraction, but you'll have to wait til they leave to empty it.
