I Can Not Sign In...

I can not sign into my hotmail account. It say it will give me a code by texting my mobile. I tried yesterday and today nothing on my phone. I want to give it an alternate email address, but it is choosing for me and I have no idea where these addresses are coming from. I want to give it gordonstaci48 so i can learn what i need to do to get into my account again. Thank you! Staci
