Lodger Has Registered Her Mastercard To My Name And Address! What Can I Do?

Nare Harutyunyun stayed at my house for 1 month and has used my name and address for her master card statement, I have asked her to remove this and have heard nothing, she has refused to give me her forwarding address. Also she has order a sim card in my name that is attached to this master card for billing. Should I go to the police? Can you help me with this? I have the statement it is a German card the number is - service dated 12th July - the balance is 1.438,64 Euros.I hope you can sort this out for me, Kind regards,Joanna Fussey

MasterCard does not issue cards and we can't tell you if an account has been opened in your name. If you know the name of the financial institution, you should contact them immediately and cancel the account. Then you should notify each of the three credit reporting agencies:

Equifax - www.Equifax.com
Trans Union - www.TransUnion.com
Experian - www.Experian.com

The credit reporting agencies should provide you with a copy of your credit report. Even if you do not see an unusual creditor on a credit report, you should formally write to advise them of the situation.
