I understand that your 2016 Polaris ACE 900 SP is experiencing a steering problem after getting stuck in a sandy creek. The stereo being off is likely unrelated and might be a separate electrical issue. Here are some possible causes of your steering problem and what you can do to fix it:

Possible causes:

Sand in the steering system: Sand can get into the steering components like the tie rods, ball joints, and rack and pinion, causing them to bind and making it difficult to turn the wheel in one direction.

Damaged tie rods or ball joints: If the tie rods or ball joints were bent or damaged by hitting something in the creek, they could also cause the steering to pull to one side.

Bent steering rack: A severe impact in the creek could potentially bend the steering rack, which is the main component that controls the front wheels. This is a less common but more serious issue.

What you can do:

Inspect the steering components: Look for any visible signs of damage to the tie rods, ball joints, or steering rack. Check for sand buildup around these components as well.

Check the tire pressure: Uneven tire pressure can also cause the vehicle to pull to one side. Make sure all four tires are inflated to the recommended pressure.

Have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic: If you're not comfortable inspecting the steering components yourself, or if you suspect a more serious issue like a bent steering rack, it's best to take your ACE to a qualified mechanic for a professional diagnosis and repair.

Here are some additional tips:

Do not attempt to drive the vehicle if the steering is significantly impaired. This could be dangerous.

If you need to move the vehicle a short distance, you can do so very slowly and carefully.

Be aware of your surroundings and avoid any obstacles that could further damage the steering system.
