Charges When Booking A Room If Cancelled

would there be a held charge on our account if we booked a room but then cancelled with the motel. not priceline.

You don't pay the motel, you pay Priceline, so if you cancel, Priceline is not going to give you a refund. You would have to cancel your reservation with the motel in either case.
